What’s Jack up to? Jack is a little tired of all the damp weather. It’s messing up his happy long walks you see. I’m with you Jack. A little rain is ok but I’m not a fan of the wet dog.
Happy Friday everyone! I hope your week has been good. I’m wrist deep in NaNo writing and starting to feel the heat already and it’s only the 5thof November. Eee…I have to keep my fingers limber and my mind lose and not all knotted up in fear and just let it flow in the images that I know are there.

To Be Judged
What’s Jack up to? Jack has been extra odd lately. Feeling very loungey and wanting to hang in the basement a lot these last few days. I think he may be extra tired after a busy weekend on the block with our annual block party. I’m happy to report that The Jackster was a perfect little gentleman and loved by all though. But with his charm of course he was.
In other news… in a strange turn of events since I’m totally neurotic and can’t stand being judged (strange how I love reality TV and judging others though, hmm) I have entered a contest. Yikes!
Not that type of contest. I’ll spare you all. It’s The Mills & Boon New Voices contest. I know crazy right? All I can do is blame my phone breaking, Twitter and a momentarily lapse of reason. I’d love to introduce you to Alexia and her family from 2 Kids and A Dog. Alexia got in touch with me after checking out my blog and seeing that we have so much in common being that I have 2 kids and a dog too (although mine are considerably larger. College soon ouch). Alexia is an American mom now married and living in Rome. Cool huh?
Well, I went to Alexia’s site and fell in love with her wit and humor. Seriously she had me practically falling off my chair laughing at her family webisodes.

Bleak Weekend
What’s Jack up to? Jack had been a funny one doing a few things that are out of the norm for him. Like in the picture here of him of sitting in front of the fire (yes, I know I need to paint, um, will get to it in the Spring).For some reason he really enjoyed the fireplace this weekend with me as I spent lost of time in front if it watching BBC’s version of Bleak House.
It was the perfect thing to watch in front of the fire and used up so much wood. Have you seen it? I totally enjoyed it. Bleak but not as bleak as I thought. Quite funny actually in parts.
Besides that, the usual running wild, finally getting the tree decorated and bowling a 132 (my new high). That was my weekend.Thanks to all my new followers and to those who entered my PVE giveaway.

What’s Jack up to? As I write this Jack is hanging in his spot under the bed with the latest toy that he’s chewed to bits. Lately I’ve been finding stuffing in the oddest places. Oh well, that’s my Jack.The holidays are here, really they are! And really I am still so not prepared. This is seriously turning into a thing with me this year. Way to cut it close, Kwana. Sigh.Ah well, I’m not going to let my lack of planning or get up and go ruin holiday cheer on this here blog so I’m having a Holiday Giveaway. Yay!!!

Wow, according to the counter this is my 600th post. That can’t be right. Can it?There must be a few drafts thrown in there but I’m not going to go back and count so I’ll just go by the reader and say go me. Yay!Funny it being my 600th post and here I am posting this God awful pic of myself but there you have it. That’s me. I keep it real. A far cry from yesterday’s post.Well here I am yesterday just a few minutes after getting off a roller coaster that I probably had no business getting on. It’s The Bizarro at 6 Flags. That thing twisted, turned went upside down and, corkscrewed. I think it was the corkscrews that did me in. Don’t they all?
So today I’m dog tired.After that one I was a go go for this one. The DH was a trooper and went on all the coasters with the Dear Twins including El Turro. My hero.
I did get my nerve up and stomach back in order and got on Superman which I love before we went home. Scary. No bottom. The coaster tilts your body so it’s like you’re flying. Crazy and I loved it!It was a great way to end the day with the four of us in terror together like we were meant to be. A family.
