    Seduction is Here!

So today is the day I become an official multi-published author. Wow. Let me pause and take that in a moment… breathe… and let it seep in another moment. It’s pretty amazing. At least for me it is. Because I know in about a minute and a half I’ll start to worry about reviews and rankings and get all down on myself about something or another I have no control over and then get all hot under the collar about how come I’m not writing enough or not writing fast enough,  or well enough or whatever, but just for now, for this moment, I want to stop and say, wow. Cool. Go me! And let that be enough.

I hope you’ll give Seduction’s Canvas a go. I can’t thank you all who have encouraged me enough for your support. For those who don’t know about Seduction’s Canvas here’s a cool new trailer to get you up to speed. Thanks to Lex from Winterheart for her wonderful work. Feel free to share it and make it go viral. Wouldn’t that be cool? And if you’d like to give it a buy, just click on the book links below or to the right.

    Blooming Monday!

Happy Monday! I’m hoping you had a lovely weekend. I sure did. It was a proud one as I saw my DD receive her Associates degree in liberal arts this weekend. This is what I hope is her first higher learning degree as she is going right onto continue her studies for her bachelors next semester. It was blooming smiles all around even if it was a tad drizzly. Nothing could dampen our spirits.

    Good Morning Heartache

Good Day World. I’ve woken with a major migraine today and I’m trying to figure what brought it along. Could it be allergies, hormones, stress or could it be just be and my awful migraines or could it be something deeper like today being one of the most stressful days of the year doing that it’s the season finale of Scandal? Gah! & Wah! And Holey Moles Batman! Somebody Hold me!

    i-can-t-keep-calm-it-s-the-scandal-finale

Have I already gotten myself worked up and into a state over the state over Olivia and Fitz and my impending withdrawal? Good thing that after today I’ll have to go cold turkey with my Scandal sobriety. Oh well, at least I have tonight and one last bender to live it up. As usual you can look for my recap on Heroes and Heartbreakers tomorrow and you can also see my past ones there too.

Also tomorrow 5/17 I’m chatting with a great group off authors over at Coffee Time Romance and the subject is Coloring Outside The Lines. We will be taking questions, talking about our new projects and giving away prizes. Please stop on by and join in! Thanks!

    Round and Round We Go…

Last week our annual Fireman’s Carnival came to town. As usual it was rained out for the first few days and as usual the weather got better and folks were able to enjoy it just before it packed up to move on to the next town. My DH and I walked over to see the fun and check out the sights. For myself I will not confirm or deny if funnel cake was eaten. I will say it did look mighty good and I hear it was delicious. ‘Nuff said.

This is a picture of the Round Up. For some reason I stopped and took lots of pictures of this ride and the whole time my stomach turned and did uncomfortable flips and turns. What you barely make out from this picture are the brave souls standing up on the ride holding on while it spins round and round only to be held in by the centrifugal force of the ride, sheer will and small chain in front of them.  This used to be my favorite ride as a kid and now the thought of getting on filled me with fear and an instant headache. So I took my pictures and thought of the kid I used to be. Made a wish for the woman I was and would be and then said goodbye to The Round Up. Until next year…

    All the best,
