Saw a pretty little red bird sitting alone on a a bare branch today. I smiled at this sure sign of Spring to come. Yay!
Enjoy the day!

Stretch it Out
Happy Friday!
So what are you up to? Jack and I are getting ourselves ready for the dear twins coming home for Spring Break over the next 2 weeks. Of course, like the tag team they have been since birth, they have two separate spring breaks just to keep us on our toes.
So while I’m currently taking a breather and getting moisturized and beautified…Jack is in is classic downward dog position and stretching it out. Getting ready for all the activity to come.
Have a great weekend!

KwanaNo longer Invisible
My DD called me full of emotion over this asking me if I had known about these invisible children. I said yes, I had. I had had known about them and been worried and prayerful and outraged for them for quite a long time. I won’t mention that I’m sure I brought this up to both the twins while they were still at home maybe a few times, I mean really it was neither here nor there. Who listens to their mother? Right?
Because now there was a video and it was becoming a movement that was hitting the streets and taking the young people, the Facebookers and the Tweeters by storm and the word was getting out. Even I didn’t know about the video. My DD, one of the young ones, was now becoming socially aware, out of her own comfort zone and outraged just like me over what was happening to children half a world away. So she was educating me now. And though I knew about the children, I didn’t know about the movement. But now I do. And you do too. They are no longer invisible.Best,
KwanaTransition Knitting
I’m in transition. That time between cool and warm and looking for a new knitting project to take me into the warmer months. So far I’m stumped. I’m sure Audrey would know what to do.
Do you have any suggestions? Good summer knitting books?

Happy Birthday Nana!
You should all be so lucky to have a Nana like I have.
A grandmother who is grand is every sense of the word. Today we are blessed and full of joy to be once again wishing her a very happy birthday. And I’m glad to be sharing one of my favorite pictures from an old Mc Donald’s birthday party that I think my kids ( they are the little ones in the vests) had or it could have been one of the others I really don’t know. But as usual all the children flocked around Nana and ambushed her. Here she is with her hand on her head saying something like, “Lord let me just catch my breath and I’ll get to all of you.” And she always did. Sometimes taking care of many more children than that by herself in her home for working mothers.
And like Dr. Seuss whose birthday she shares all the kids flock to her.
We love you Nana! Have a great Birthday!
Love,
Kwana, DH, DD, DS and JackLeap!
Enjoy this day and don’t let it go to waste. It doesn’t come around every year.
