Happy Birthday MG!
What’s Jack up to? Today he’s busy guarding the house and getting all riled up about not being allowed upstairs to play video games with the boys. Maybe if you stopped tearing stuff up while you’re up there you’d be allowed, Jack.
Today is the birthday of my good friend and fellow writer Marley Gibson. Thirty seconds after I met her a a writer’s conference a few years back I knew I wanted to be her friend. Marley is amazing and her first teen series comes out next year. You’ll be hearing more here soon.
Happy Birthday Mar. This video is a gift for you.Best,
KwanaMerry Christmas to me…again?
What’s Jack up too? For all his fierceness he’s afraid of going out in the dark tonight. Maybe it was seeing the family of deer walking along his normal street path the other night. That’s Jack, all bark and no real bite.
So my Christmas was lovely and came complete with a bit of deja vu. I have a Tiffany charm bracelet which my DH, DS and DD gave me a few years ago. Now, I know there are some in the fashionista set who think it’s tres passe but I don’t care.
I think it’s a classic, like all my many black turtlenecks, it will never go out of style. I love it live and wear it proudly. So when I unwrapped a box and saw the traditional Tiffany blue a smile instantly appeared across my face. I knew it would be a new charm for my bracelet. I opened the box, looked at my DH and said with a grin, “it’s wonderful. I love it and I loved it when you gave it too me last year!”
See what happens when you’ve been married for many years. There’s bound to be repeats. Luckily Tiffany is always designing new charms for sentimental traditionalists like me.
Check back later to see what our exchange trip to Tiffany will bring.
Best,
KwanaHappy Holidays
Hi, welcome to my world. I hope you like it here. I’ll admit it may get a little strange at times.
Well, this is a big step for me, getting into this whole blog thing. I said for the longest time that I’d never do it. Now here I am. Doing it!
So what will my little corner of the Internet be about? Why me of course. And my DH (dear husband), my now teenage twins: DS (dear son) and DD (dear daughter) and Jack, our terrible and terribly cute Yorkshire terrier.Honestly, Jack will probably be the star of the show since the other players could possibly sue me if I spill too much and Jack is a born publicity hound. Check out the picture here for proof of how nutty Jack and I can be.I’ll also be talking about the writing life, my love of knitting and my favorite guilty pleasure, not so real, reality TV.Happy Holidays!
