Pawed Out
What’s Jack up to? Well here he is under a chair on the deck trying not to show his bad paws off to the neighbors. But still I caught him!
As you can see he’s currently wearing snow booties, a very well worn gift from his friend Ina in Alaska as they are the only things that will cover his bruised paws that he picks and gnaws way too much. So I have them covered with the booties. Thanks Ina! Though I’m sure right now Jack is not saying thanks. He’s just frustrated with me. Ah well, its’ for his own good.

And another one
Another Friday that is. This one came around super fast if you ask me. It feels like I was just posting Monday’s pic and uh, I’m ashamed to say not as much writing that should have gotten done did. What did get done?
Well poor Jack got into some trouble on Tuesday and ate a half a loaf of bread and then messed up the house my messing around the house. Then the next day I noticed ne was limping so I checked him out and saw he had injured his paw. Ripped part of the pad clear off. Ouch. So now he is bandaged and hating that we’ve taken to calling him ‘Little Foot’ and ‘Hoppy’.

Two Reasons
What’s Jack up to? Well Jack has been such the Jackster and then some lately. Darting all around and barking at just about everybody (don’t ask me what’s up with that) that dares cross his path. Seems the little dog has quite the ‘tude.

What’s Jack up to? Well Jack has been a bit on the wild side. Extra barky with anyone who passes and extra needy not wanting to let any one of us out of the house without voicing his displeasure. I don’t know if he’s gearing up to drive me bonkers when the dear twins go off to college. Uh oh.
The DH had a low key birthday (he thanks you for the thoughtful wishes) after yet another college visit and then we came home to sing to him and share cake. But you would have thought we were singing to Jack and offering him cake the way he was jumping up and down, trying to get to the table. Check out the mania is these eyes.

Wandering Mind
What’s Jack up to? What hasn’t he been up to is the question? He’s been having quite the mind of his own lately. Doing what he wants when he wants. Just look at this face… Think there’s any reasoning with him?
In the meantime I’ve been quite the pushover and letting him run all over me. You see I’m still in college H -E double L with the acceptances (thank God) and the rejections and even dreaded waitlists (UGH!) for the dear twins. And now we are waiting to hear about finances for these here schools so life is just nuts.
I’m also in wait mode to hear back about my edits from my agent so on the professional front I’m on pins and needles right now too and for a woman with no patience it’s pretty hard to take. Talk about no sleep and muscle spasms? Let’s not go there.
But I’m trying to write through it when I can get a free moment in my wondering mind which is rare. But I must since I feel I’m writing for my life right now.
That said I think I will be sporadic on ye old blog because I’m feeling a need to give myself a break in at least one area. But you know me, I’m sure I can’t stay away. I will be popping in over at your places when I can and you can always find me on twitter @kwanawrites and over at The Loft talking books!

I have to admit I’m off on my Super Wendy TBR challenge this month because I’ve been too busy reading Karen Marie Moning’s Fever books trying to get through this addictive series. I’m at the end now on book 5 Shadowfever. How did this happen to me? I totally blame twitter. Bandwagon jumper that I am. But in other news…

Action Jackson
What’s Jack up to? We’ll I’m happy to say with the weekend rain the huge snow piles are finally gone so that’s great news for the Jackster who has been going a bit stir crazy here. The most action he’s has these past few weeks has been from the UPS man who has renamed him ACTION JACKSON which is a very fitting name I think, since he never seems to stop and still runs around like a friskypuppy getting into just as much trouble as one too.
As you can see form this pic Jack is still as shaggy as ever and long overdue for a visit to the groomer though I’m afraid I may now be charged hazard pay he’s such a mess. Is my Jack under there?

Happy Friday! What’s Jack up to? Why he’s happy that today is supposed to be positively Springy weather wise! He’s looking forward to a nice long walk and hopefully sitting on the porch in the sunshine while watching some of the huge snow piles melt (ok that’s me looking forward to that). Yeah, the cold will be back tomorrow but hey, that’s tomorrow.

He’s up… He’s down
What’s Jack up to? Sorry it’s been a long while since I’ve given an update but things have been pretty quiet on the Jack front.
I guess that’s due to the fact that this has been the stormiest winter ever. Poor Jack has been mostly stuck inside with doing nothing much but turning into a little Cousin It and growing his hair way too long. Is there a dog under there?
I had to do and ultra close up just to get a pic of his sweet eyes. See. Coming in close. ..
Lately his favorite game is going on the couch where I don’t want him and jumping down with a loud thump when he hears me coming around the corner. Yeah, we do that quite a lot. It gets us through the day. It’s the little things.
So what have you been up to to keep you entertained this Winter?

Is This Getting Boring?
What’s Jack up to? Poor thing buried is in snow. Well don’t feel bad for him feel bad for me and the DH doing the digging.
I had to get the heating pad last night for my back and then we got over a foot more snow over night. But, Spring is coming we know it right, Jack?
