Did You Hear It?
So I was doing my DD dance run and this came on the radio and I couldn’t stop smiling. Why did we stop being so carefree that we no longer wear tutus over leggins? I’m calling for a comeback. Turn it up ya’ll it’s Friday!

All Wet
Oh I’m feeling like these leaves about my NanoWrimo challenge. All wet and scattered and left behind. I’ve got some serious catching up to do. I don’t know where I’ll be come November 30th but I’m still moving ahead and hoping not to be blown away.

What’s Jack up to? I don’t know I think Jack is just as perplexed as I am. Last night he started backing for a moment and I thought it was the DS coming home and when I went to check this is what I found…
Who, well, what in the world got to our little pumpkin in 30 seconds? Yikes! Even the stem is gone. Jack and I are both traumatized and ready to run back to the city.
Thanks so much to all of you who commented on my The Loft post yesterday. And an even bigger thanks to those that stopped by The Loft and “liked” me over there. Your support is so appreciated. If you didn’t get a chance click here to stop by. Thanks!

I’m so excited for this new launch where we’ll chat about all sorts of goings on in women’s fiction and chicklit is not a dirty word! Please stop on by and “like” The Loft on Facebook. A Tree Glows
Happy Monday! What’s Jack up to? Jack has had a fun weekend with having Nana over but now he’s a little out of sorts with it just being back to boring old me. I shall try an entertain you Jack… a bit.
I as said a Nana was up and we did our annual super warehouse store Thanksgiving shopping. Now I think I need 2 days to recover. Those stores are sure huge. Push, tug, shove. Ugh. But it will all be worth it come Thanksgiving and Nana’s delish food I’m sure.
Now I’ve got to get back to my regularly scheduled NaNoWrimo writing. I’m more than a tad behind but the work is moving so I’m happy about that.
Wishing you all a glorious week!
Best,
Kwana

I wonder what he’s thinking? Hmm… maybe about the characters I put on his corner this week? Yeah, I’ve been spending a lot of time in his part of town (at least in my mind I have) or is it a her? Do we know? Something to Google maybe.
Either way today I’m thinking about the conversation a couple of my characters had very close to this lion and all the real life conversations that have happened in the very same spot. If only this lion could talk, oh the stories he would tell.
Hope your week is going well.

Exclamation Nation!
Happy Monday everyone!!
I know what am I doing going getting all exclamation point happy about on a Monday? Don’t ask me because I really don’t know. It’s Monday and It’s November if I could, I’d slow down time so I’d have more for college apps with the dear teen twins and more time for Nanowrimo, but as you all know, time don’t wait for no one so here we are on another Monday so…!!! Take them for what they are good or bad.
I hope you all had a good weekend. One of my highlights was the DH and I started back with our church bowling league. Yep, it was time to pull out the old glittery ball and dust off my clown shoes.
On the up side I started out great, but by my 3rd game I was a hot mess. Here’s hoping I improve this season as much as I did last. I was honored to receive a most improved award for last season so that’s not too shabby. Goals are good! Darn there goes those exclamation point again. What’s with them on Mondays?
Best,
Kwana
