Happy Halloween from the Count
After an oddball, practically unprecedented October snowstorm
Jack felt the need to bare his fangs and turned into Count Jackula!
I think he may have scared himself to sleep.
Have a good one!

Let’s Mash!
In the Closet
I plan to be locked in the writing closet for the next month. November is NaNo National Novel writing month and though I’m not an official participant I still plan on writing as much as I can during that time. Now if only my writing closet was this pretty but maybe it’s for the best that I have the little corner I have. This closet I may never find my way out of.
Are you doing NaNo this month?

The Hideaway
This weekend the DH, the grandparents and I got to see the DD and DS since it was parent’s weekend at the DD’s school. And after seeing her we took a quick trip and dropped things off at the son’s college too. It was great to see them both though always bittersweet now as each time we see them they have changed in subtle ways and as parents we know our babies will never be the little ones they once were. While at the DD’s school she took us on a wonderful tour of her library and showed her now favorite places to get away for quiet moments of study. I just love a library and am so glad that she does too.

You Made It…
Wherever…
TBR Yeah I’ve fallen…
So I noticed with getting the twins off to college and getting into this new empty nester life and all I kind of fell off the wagon
with reading and Wendy the Super Liberian’s TBR challenge. But I have read a bit and though this month was paranormal was the suggestion I have been reading (a first for me) sci-fi romance from Ms. Ann Aguirre. I was pulled in through the twitter world to give her Sirantha Jax Series a try and I’m so glad I did. So far I’ve read the first 2 books Grimspace and Wanderlust. I now have to get on board with the next 3 (I’m reading slow compared to my twitter friends). I have to say I’m loving this new genre for me though. It was fun to step out of my comfort zone and go into a totally new world and time dimension something I’d normally never do.Have you read out of your comfort zone lately?

Deep Thinking…
What’s Jack up to? Chilling today and I think doing some deep thinking about his new haircut. Hope he likes it.
I’m going to be doing some deep thinking today myself about my current WIP. Let’s home I don’t hurt my brain. Happy Tuesday!
Best,
Kwana
Another Monday…
