In the House
It seems this odd time of the mid-summer season was just made for catching up on the shows you missed, well really it’s made for writing and not missing your deadlines, but when that fails you and the blank screen is blinding, Netflix it is and thankfully there is some new fantastic original programming. I’ve just gotten hooked on the series House of Cards. For a Scandal-nista like me all that political intrigue is just the ticket. Have you given it a go?

Jack is snoozing ever so quietly by my side. I love it when he plays like the sweet little lap dog. He’s such a little faker at times. I’m currently reading Charlaine Harris’s DEAD UNTIL DARK which HBO’s True Blood is based on. I really like her voice. It’s like being in Sookie’s head all the time. Luckily I don’t mind and find Sookie quite funny and quirky.I find it so interesting, reading this after enjoying the series on HBO. It’s usually the other way around for me. I’m only a few chapters in and already it’s a few episodes in. Wow. Charlaine sure gave them lots of rich material to work with and this is just the first book in the series. Very cool

What’s Jack up to? Dear Jack’s in trouble for snatching a juice pouch and going on the run with it. Thanks for the fine mess to clean up, Jack. I needed a little more work to do.
How much to I love my local library? Thissssssss much. Why? Because I got to watch this over the weekend in between the dust, heat and baseball. So much fun.
