Awkward

Yep, I went and did it. For yet another time, this past weekend I made the family pile in the car and head to Sears for our own Awkward Family holiday photo. There I was with the oldest kids in the store. There they were trying hard to pretend they didn’t know me or the DH. Honestly, there the DH was, trying hard to pretend he didn’t know me either. What up with that?

But I’m happy to say, mission accomplished and I have now gotten a photo for every year with my twins all through high school!

Next year they will be going to college and we may start skipping some years and I may be ok with that.  I May. We will see, but I’m thrilled to have made it through this year and I didn’t even pull out the vinyl to get it done.

    I can just image everyone walking around acting like they don’t know one another and there you are standing proudly in line. Smile… This is amazing how you managed to take a photo every year. Yes the kids will look back and be glad you did laughing at all the memories each photo gives. Love the photo above. xo

    Some day the twins will laugh about it and someday they will drag their sweet kids there and make them suffer! Good to check one Holiday chore off the list!

    Congrats on rounding up the fam once again….they will one day be glad you documented each year that way. I LOVE the photo….too funny not to pass on. Your sense of humor is the best, Kwana. xo

    Good for you for sticking to your guns! Those pictures will be priceless and one day the twins will be thankful you made them do it!

    Okay, could the woman in the family photo have been serious? I would love to know the reaction she got from the people on her Christmas card list!
