Just One More Thing

Sometimes I feel like as the mom of teens I have to be Columbo in order to get a complete story out of the two of them. It’s like I’m constantly grilling folks in my house to find out basic info. “And uh, just one more thing…” as Columbo always says.

Slightly tiring but I’m getting some mom development time and am off to NJ for the NJ RWA writers conference this weekend. I can’t wait to see old friends and attend the workshops for some writing inspiration. I’ll leave the Columbo duty to the DH for the weekend.

Enjoy love!

Best,

Kwana

Oh I remember Det. Columbo very well! It was one of my favorite shows “back in the day”. Yes, it is hard to pull info from teens…. I do not envy any Mom! Enjoy your getaway to my home state, and I received my book. I must email Ms. Eng to say it arrived safely. I will read it after I finish reading Tales from the Bed, by the late Jenifer Estess. Tales from the Bed is a memoir about Ms. Estess’ experience of being diagnosed with ALS at age 35 and is written from her viewpoint of living each day and treasuring her life and family. Very touching memoir. xoxoxo

That’s what he would say as he was leaving

…oh yeah Kwana, just one more thing — have a super time in NJ and I suspect you will return inspired.
