The Best Year Of My Life..yeah about that…
I can’t stop singing this song. I think it comes from me thinking if it’s not one thing it’s another. So… One way or another… It’s The Best Year Of My Life. Yeah, um, about that… I was just diagnosed with freakin’ rheumatoid arthritis. Sweet huh? But I’m not going to dwell here now the only think I’ll say now is that I will be proactive. More on that later.
Best,
Kwana
P.S.
Happy Birthday to my dear friend Karli!! I love you girl. You’ve been with me since the Easy Bake Oven and that’s a LONG time. Wishing you all the Happiness and sweetness in the world.

Oh, Kwana, I’m sorry about the dx, but you have the right attitude. Being proactive and taking charge is everything in health care. Big hugs!

Happy birthday to your easy bake oven friend, Karli!
As for the RA…certainly it’s no match for Ms. Kwana! It just better watch its back. That’s all I have to say about that!

Oh what the hell. Well, you will get past that if I know you! And I heart Blondie. Thanks for the kick in the pants this morning. xo

Kwana,
First your blog/web site looks wonderful!
Second, it is a bummer about RA but don’t let it get you down.
I have had it since I was 19 (I am in my hundreds now), and it can be managed by taking care of yourself, that is: eat well, rest, live well, moderate exercise, be happy, and take an anti inflammation drug of your choice (advil, et all).
Third, I love that Blondie song!
Thanks for always being around for me.

I’ve had arthritis, it seems forever, but I tend to forget. LOL — I just keep staying busy and work my butt off so by the time I go to bed, I’m too tired to feel pain.
Take care of you, sister!

Proactive is excellent, including learning as much as you can about how to manage this common condition, and I hope you find the comments from others with RA uplifting.
Your loyal readers are here to help in any way that we can, so please let us know what you need.

Kwana: I’m sorry to hear of your RA. You have the right attitude – be positive and do alot of research on your own, so that when you talk w/your Doc., you can have a two way conversation instead of one way. I have found sometimes they speak w/too many medical terms for the average person.
Know that I am thinking of you!

My husband’s law partner has RA. It is WELL CONTROLLED with medication. Before that he was in so much pain. Now, just fine, so be well assured your comfort level will be fine, well, as fine as it can be with teen twins and Mr. Jack!! xoxo
and Happy Birthday to your friend! I LOVED the Easy Bake Oven. My how toys have evolved since then….

Thanks so much for all your comments and words of encouragement on the RA. You all are the best.
