Warm Up With A Good Book

No, it’s not quite beach weather yet. Things are still way too breezy and unpredictable in the NYC. But you can always warm your toes and whatever else you like with a good book. What good books are keeping you cozy as you wait on the lazy days of summer so you can bare a little skin?

Oh and the winner thanks to Random.org of the Amanda McCabe Muse trilogy giveaway is… Julie! Congrats Julie and thanks for stopping by to enter. Please email me your info at kwanawrites (at) yahoo (dot) com so I can get in touch.

Best,

Kwana

    Congrats to Amanda!

I have a book stucked under my little pile I am starting for my hospital stay, but wouldn’t you know it I forgot the name and the book is upstairs!!! It is about dogs/animals and their spirits. I do enjoy reading books outdoors in the early mornings before the afternoon sun comes over my head. xo

Where did you find that image of me? That is totally me, wrapped from head to toe with a book at the beach. Care to join me, the only thing missing is a bonfire of the vanities and some coffee.

LOVE that picture. I am reading 2 books right now “Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil” and “Angelology” – enjoying both (if I could just keep my eyes open after 10:00 pm).

    Colleen

PS Went to MoMA on Sat. & saw your lady friend… made me feel better!

Collen I’m so glad you got to the MoMa that day and saw the lady. Great. Oh and loved Midnight in the Garden.

I’m lovin’ this image, Kwana! Let me tell you it was brisk here yesterday. A flannel night!

Right now, I’m curled up with Hugh MacLeod’s Ignore Everybody: And 39 Other Keys to Creativity. @gapingvoid on Twitter.

Love the picture! Seriously due to my relentless blog reading that is about all I read. Blogs Twitter and Facebook! But I am in the middle of Cheerful Money, a memoir by Tad Friend.
