Love it, Kwana! This is honest-to-God my adopted philosophy of the last 7 years or so!
However, in reality, I ask myself “Can you do something about it RIGHT NOW?”
Sometimes the answer is no (because I’m at work, or I’ve encountered a roadblock, or whatever), so I honestly feel, then, “Why worry now?”
But if the answer is “yes,” I do one tiny thing about the problem — making a phone call, looking up info, whatever — and then it actually makes my worry go away! As long as I take one tiny step of action.
It’s been an amazing change in philosophy and has reduced my stress level considerably! 🙂 (Too bad I didn’t learn this until I was almost 40!)
